Aichi Prefecture will lead the way to a sustainable future for its citizens and the world.

Aichi Prefecture has been the number one prefecture in Japan for 43 consecutive years in terms of value of shipments of manufactured goods, etc., and continues to lead the world in "monozukuri" (manufacturing), especially in the automobile, aerospace, and robotics industries.

Aichi Prefecture is also known for its "love of knowledge".
It has explored, created, and disseminated new "knowledge" to the world, and has continued to produce leaders with new "knowledge" both historically and in the present day.

As technologies and startups that will disrupt conventional industries emerge from around the world, Aichi Prefecture will continue to challenge itself with passion for the future.

We will co-creating new "knowledge" with partners around the world on the two challenges for Aichi Prefecture to lead the Smart Sustainable City.
