How to capture the future
In Japan, a fundamental change in the social system for prevention and care is required due to increasing medical and nursing care costs and the advent of the "100-year life age”.
The concept of health care is not only limited to "curing illness," but is also focused on "achieving overall personal well-being".
We are facing an era in which people are expected to achieve well-being by building a comprehensive healthcare system that brings together medical institutions, caregiving facilities, local governments, and corporations.
Vision
What is the purpose of Co-Creation?
YAGAMI Co., Ltd. aims to be 「Human Care Company」 that comprehensively supports wholistic healthcare for the people. It hopes to create a more essential and comprehensive futuristic healthcare system from the following three points.
- Individual:Provide solutions that can support self-medication (prevention), maintain and strengthen health and physical functions (e.g., provide rehabilitation programs), and individually manage chronic diseases through digital consultation and medical support at home.
- Organization: Provide a solution that visualizes and improves the health and vitality of the organization through the monitoring and enhancement of all individuals’ well-being within the organization. We would also like to provide solutions that contribute to healthcare providers such as reducing workloads and solving human resource shortages.
- Community: provide solutions for citizens to have health care access services at any time through collaboration among local stakeholders such as medical institutions, caregiving facilities, local governments, and companies.

What is the potential that can be tapped for the future?
- Network: Strong network with medical institutions, medical equipment manufacturers, research institutions, etc. (approx. 1,200 hospitals, approx. 1,100 clinics, approx. 700 medical equipment manufacturers)
- Human resources: 600 sales personnel with expertise in the healthcare field, sales offices (29 medical equipment sales offices, 11 nursing care and welfare equipment sales and rental outlets, etc.)
- Connection to users: Connection to end-users through nursing services and medical equipment rental services operated by companies in the network.
- Finance: CVC specializing in the healthcare.

- Improve comprehensive healthcare in a region and well-being (systems that optimize and match healthcare, medical and nursing care, data security, etc.)
- Build a digital platform that inform everyone about prevention, medical, and caregiving is collected to comprehensively manage health of citizens.
- Support the physical and mental independence of patients in need of care (rehabilitation robots and software, remote labor support services, etc.)
- Maintain health and prevent serious illness through behavior change (e.g., apps utilizing nudge theory, programmed medical devices, gamification for exercises and health management, etc.)
